It's a fact, Impaired Drivers Kill!

Countless numbers of people are killed or injured by impaired drivers annually and property damage is in the millions of dollars.   Police services around the world target drunk drivers throughout the year but the annual holiday season blitz has become a mainstay in their campaign to educate the community on the hazards of drinking and driving.

RIDE Checks supports the efforts of police services in the Greater Toronto Area by allowing them to reward the law abiding citizens stopped in the R.I.D.E. roadside spot checks with a small token of their appreciation. The Ride Checks Passport to Safety delivers value added offerings as well as important safety information of value to all motorists.

The 2007-2008 R.I.D.E. Blitz will run from a launch date of November 29 through to January 3, 2008 across the GTA.  RIDE Checks Rewards Booklets will be distributed through The Toronto Police Service and other services in the GTA.  It truly is a safety and education blitz.

Here is an opportunity for all businesses to stand up and show your support for the efforts of these police services and demonstrate to impaired drivers everywhere that their behavior is unacceptable.
